W ramach projektu NAWA Partnerstwa Strategiczne pt. International Cooperation for Education on Sustainable Management and Protection of Antarctic Living Marine Resources and Ecosystems – AntarCTic Partnership of UG and INACH ICEPACT” ogłaszamy nabór na staże studenckie w Instituto Antartico Chileno INACH – Punta Arenas (Chile).
W ramach stażu studenci będą włączani w aktywności naukowe INACH w różnych obszarach działalności tej instytucji, w tym szczególnie w zakresie biologii, ekologii rejonów polarnych, jak również ich zarządzeniem i ochroną. Studenci w trakcie realizacji stażu będą nabywali wiedzę, umiejętności i kompetencje w obszarze przygotowywania planów prac monitoringowych i badawczych w rejonach polarnych, na przykładzie Antarktyki, których wyniki mogą stanowić dokumentację do tworzenia rekomendacji i planów ochrony, w tym związanej z zarządzaniem rybołówstwem w obszarach wrażliwych.
Długość stażu: 3 tygodnie
Okres realizacji stażu: 02-20.11.2026
Finansowanie: projekt ICEPACT, w ramach programu NAWA Partnerstwo Strategiczne
Oferta skierowana jest do studentów studiów licencjackich, magisterskich i szkół doktorskich UG/SEA-EU.
Termin nadsyłania zgłoszeń: 15.09.2026, 23:59 (czas Warszawa)
Wymagane dokumenty (w języku angielskim): wykaz ocen ostatniego semestru studiów licencjackich lub magisterskich, list motywacyjny i CV, opinia opiekuna/promotora pracy licencjackiej, magisterskiej, doktorskiej lub nauczyciela akademickiego; w ramach rekrutacji będą brane także pod uwagę m.in. czynny udział w działalności wydziałowej/uczelnianej/instytucjonalnej i poziom znajomości języka angielskiego.
W pierwszym etapie rekrutacji zostanie wybranych 15 osób, które zaprosimy na rozmowy rekrutacyjne (w formie zdalnej).
Szczególnie zapraszamy studentów kierunków studiów powiązanych z biologią/ekologią/naukami środowiskowymi oraz naukami o morzu.

As part of the NAWA Strategic Partnerships project International Cooperation for Education on Sustainable Management and Protection of Antarctic Living Marine Resources and Ecosystems – AntarCTic Partnership of UG and INACH (ICEPACT), we announce a call for student internships at the Instituto Antártico Chileno (INACH) – Punta Arenas (Chile).
During the internship, students will be involved in INACH’s scientific activities across various fields of the institution’s work, particularly in the areas of biology, ecology of polar regions, as well as their management and protection. Throughout the internship, students will acquire knowledge, skills, and competences in preparing monitoring and research work plans in polar regions, using Antarctica as an example. The results of such work may serve as documentation for recommendations and conservation plans, including those related to fisheries management in sensitive areas.
Duration of internship: 3 weeks
Internship period: November 02–20.11.2026
Funding: ICEPACT project, under the NAWA Strategic Partnerships program

The offer is addressed for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students at UG/SEA-EU.
Required documents (in English): transcript of records from the last semester of bachelor’s or master’s studies, a motivation letter, and a CV; an opinion from the supervisor/promoter of a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral thesis, or from an academic teacher; as part of the recruitment process, active involvement in faculty, university, or institutional activities, as well as the level of English proficiency, will also be taken into consideration.
In the first stage of recruitment, 15 candidates will be selected and invited to online interviews.
We warmly invite students from biology, ecology, environmental sciences, marine sciences, and related disciplines to apply.
